After the assassination of Anne Rwigara, Criminal Paul Kagame and his ruthless intelligence services turned their sights on her cousin, Monique Ruberwa. According to Aline Rwigara, “Monique Ruberwa was like a child to us. After the death of her parents during the Tutsi Genocide, Monique and her sister, Louise Ruberwa, became our children. The Rwigara family took them in, and they lived with us.”
In her testimony, Adeline Rwigara described Monique Ruberwa as a disciplined child and a staunch Christian who provided unwavering support during the family’s difficult times. “When Anne Rwigara died, Monique Ruberwa remained the strongest among us. She took care of everything and was the point of contact for those wishing to reach the family. Even when I left the country to attend Anne Rwigara’s burial, Monique stayed behind at home with Diane Rwigara,” noted Adeline Rwigara.
Before her assassination, Monique Ruberwa had recently started a new job that required her to relocate from Kigali to Kibungo. Adeline Rwigara recounts that a few weeks later, Monique suddenly fell ill. She was taken to various hospitals across Rwanda, underwent numerous tests including MRI scans, but all results indicated nothing was wrong. Monique Ruberwa suffered from a high temperature until her last day, when she succumbed to multi-organ failure. Her death mirrored that of her cousin Anne Rwigara, believed to be a result of administered intelligence poison.
Under Criminal Paul Kagame’s brutal dictatorship, state-purchased or manufactured poisons are classified as special weapons. Since 2020, assassination poisons have been under the full control of the Special Forces Division, led by Major General Ruki Karusisi.
Paul Kagame has eliminated countless individuals using poison. His ruthless intelligence employs various types of poisons, including:
1. Neurotoxic Poison (affecting the nervous system)
2. Cardiac Poison (affecting the heart’s functions)
3. Asphyxiant Poison (causing suffocation)
4. Arsenic Poison (carcinogenic/Cancerous)
The tragic deaths of Anne Rwigara and Monique Ruberwa highlight the ongoing brutality and ruthlessness of Kagame’s regime. Their stories serve as a stark reminder of the lengths to which Kagame’s intelligence services will go to silence dissent and eliminate perceived threats.
