For the past 15 years, Rwanda’s “remarkable rise” has been the benchmark for many under-developed countries. Rwanda has been used as an example by western countries as African success story, and all of this have been attributed to one man and one man only, the “visionary” Paul Kagame!
Paul Kagame and his government have done all they can to keep up this image but slowly, time is catching up with them. The world is starting to note that this “rapid rise” is based on lies, manipulation and opression of many Rwandans.
Paul Kagame pays a lot of poor Rwandan tax payers’ money to maintain a false image by directly bribing many international influancial individuals, media agencies and former world leaders to sing his praise. However one of the key and clever ways Major Gen Paul Kagame has managed to fool the world is by secretly infiltrating and controling foreign NGOs and Charity organisations that operate in Rwanda.
In this Article, I will be discussing and showing how one of this Charity organization has been deeply infiltrated and is literally being directly run by Rwanda’s secret services. The Organisation I am talking about is none other than Compassion International. Compassion International is a child focused American Christian Charity Organization oparating in different underdeveloped and developing countries worldwide.
Compassion International main aim is to “release children from poverty in Jesus’ name,” as its motto states, by partnering with churches and sponsors where western individuals choose to virtually adopt a child up to the age of 22 (One on One Sponsorship). Compassion International encourages its sponsors to physically visit their sponsored children atleast once during the sponsorship period thus creating a huge flow of sponsors into sponsored countries.
When sponsors (who are mainly Christians) come into the country to visit their children, most of them choose to travel deep into villages in order to see and experience, of how children they consider their own live and the DMI makes sure these visitors are manipulated and shown a false image of the country by carefully choosing who comes into the contact with these Visitors. They make sure that these visitors are only allowed to use Limos car hire services, which is a Chrystal Ventures company, a consortium owned by Paul Kagame. Also they sleep in selected hotels depending on Where they are in the country.
From the local trip planning officer, accomodation to the translator even the car hire companies and drivers are DMI chosen. DMI coordinates the trips of these sponsors, the direct compassionate International workers what to say, when and where to take the visitors. Local authorities are notified of any visitor’s arrival just to make sure that everyone is on the same page. Everything possible will be done to prevent the visiting sponsor seeing the reality on the ground. The reality of poverty, destitution, hunger and decreases.
This is so cleverly and smartly planned because when a visitor is shown a certain positive image and told of all the miracle stories, this visitor becomes unknowing ambassador to the lies and cooked up statistics. The translators who travel with these visitors are strictly given instructions to talk about certain initiatives such as Ubudehi, Girinka, Umuganda, Gacaca and other Paul Kagame attributed initiatives. They are also told to make sure they mention of how all of this was done by Paul Kagame after he single handedly stopped the genocide and encouraged forgiveness and reconciliation. (any Rwandan knows this not the case).
Compassion International Rwanda is managed by Rwanda’s Directorate of Military Intelligence (DMI) under disguise of pastors and gospel ministers. One of the top managers at Compassion Rwanda is actually a direct relative of Gen Paul Kagame.
There is a permanent disatisfaction among many employees due to the fact that many qualified employees are overlooked for promotions in favour of the ruling party mambers. Without knowing that Compassion Rwanda is not a charity organization but an Intelligence Institution under a Christian blanket used to control the world’s opinion on Rwanda.
In march this year, one of the Compassion Rwanda translator was fired by the company for being suspected of being too friendly with the sponsors and talking to them off the scripts but the strange thing is that after being fired, this employee was kidnapped by Rwanda’s security services, DMI. Up today his whereabouts remain unknown.
Compassion Rwanda is just one of example of how Rwanda’s junta regime is manipulating the world by heavily penetrating foreign NGOs and Charity Organizations with sole aim of forcing lies upon the world. But it is not an isolated case, this same things are happening in world vision and many other NGOs operating in Rwanda.
