Today, 11th November 2022, in his effort to preserve the national coexistence and Unity, President Felix Tshisekedi met Tutsi and Hutu leaders at his Presidential Palace in Kinshasa. The discussion was on unity, fight against ethnic discrimination, physical and facial stigmatisation and separation ideology.
Both representatives of these two communities reiterated their unwavering support to President Felix Tshisekedi, on how they support his effort for peace, support his call for general mobilization, reaffirmed their love for the country and their engagement to defend the national sovereignty.
Hutu representatives saluted the engagement and determination of President Felix Tshisekedi in search for solutions to restore peace in Eastern DR Congo.
Tutsi representatives, on their part, condemned those who got arms to fight against the country, they condemned those who attach Congolese Tutsis to M23 terrorists, they said reiterated of their loyalty to thier country DR Congo and rejected Rwanda’s manipulation to impose unjust war against DR Congo.
