Conflict In DR Congo: RDF’s Failed Offensive That Took Place On Monday, 3rd March 2024

By: Robert Patrick Fati Gakwerere

On Monday, 4th March 2024, RDF terrorists launched simultaneous attacks on several FARDC defenses, with conflicts persisting throughout the day. The areas of Bambo, Mutanda, Kihondo, Nyanzale, Singa, Bushweshwe, Lushebere, and Rwindi were scenes of combat.

Despite their efforts, the RDF failed to secure any territory in this offensive, instead suffering significant troop losses.

On social media, misleading claims propagated by supporters of Paul Kagame might suggest that the RDF had taken Nyanzale. However, in reality, RDF-M23 terrorists were effectively repelled at the outskirts of the small village center of Nyanzale.

As of now, Bambo has become a makeshift mortuary for the fallen soldiers of Kagame’s forces from the previous day’s battles.

To the people of Rwanda, it is urged that you return to your homeland and allow peace to return to DR Congo.
