DR Congo: New Government Announced By Prime Minister Judith Suminwa

The government led by Prime Minister Judith Suminwa was announced on Wednesday, May 29, 2024. The new DR Congo government has been reduced from 57 to 55 members, a decrease of approximately 6% compared to the outgoing government of Prime Minister Sama Lukonde. The new administration includes 18 women, representing about 32% female representation. The government team comprises 6 deputy prime ministers, 9 ministers of state, 24 ministers, 4 delegate ministers, and 10 deputy ministers.
