At the time of his assassination on 10 May 2013, Major John Sengati had already been retired from the army – RDF.
Major John Sengati was a trusted ADC to Gen. Kayumba Nyamwasa from 1993 to 2001, at the time Gen Kayumba went to UK to further his studies – Master’s degree.
After Gen Kayumba Nyamwasa leaving Rwanda for his studies in the U.K, Major John Sengati and all of Gen Kayumba Nyamwasa’s escorts were deployed and integrated within Gen James Kabarebe’s team.
When Gen James Kabarebe became the Chief of Defence Staff in 2002, he appointed Major John Sengati as commanding officer in charge of security to VIPs under the ministry of defence.
In 2007, assassin Gen James Kabarebe allowed him to go and further his education, he enrolled at Kigali Institute of Technology (KIST) while he was still an active member of the RDF and still heading security to VIPs under the ministry of defence.
When Gen Kayumba Nyamwasa fled Rwanda in February 2010, criminal Paul Kagame through advice from assassin Gen James Kabarebe, gave directives for all Kayumba Nyamwasa allies and suspected allies within RDF to be sidelined, this is when Major John Sengati was unceremoniously thrown out of the army.
After being thrown out of the army, deceitful Gen James Kabarebe retained John Sengati and introduced him in black market mineral trade. For the past 20+ years, Criminal Paul Kagame and assassin James Kabarebe are Rwanda’s kinpins in black market of illegal mineral trading. It is from this background that Gen James Kabarebe recruited Major John Sengati to be one of his mole in this illigal trade.
While recruiting Major John Sengati to run part of his business, treacherous Gen James Kabarebe had one objective, to gain the trust of Major John Sengati and later use him as an operative tool in a plan to eliminate eliminate Gen Kayumba Nyamwasa.
Treacherous assassin Gen James Kabarebe reassured Maj John Sengati while telling him that the order for him and others to be sidelined was made by criminal Paul Kagame, what he failed to tell Major John Sengati, was the fact that he was the brain behind the purge on those who were close to Gen Kayumba Nyamwasa.
In black market of illigal mineral trading, Gen James Kabarebe sent Major John Sengati to different countries within the greatlakes region for collection of minerals from different trade contacts within the region.
In 2011, treacherous assassin James Kabarebe who was already the minister of defence told Maj John Sengati that he has been added in a team of private military experts attached to Rwanda’s ministry of defence who will be deployed in Darfur for six months under peace keeping mission. Assassin James Kabarebe noted, “I am deploying you in Sudan as a private military contractor for you to make quick money.”
Days before leaving for Dafur, Sudan, Major John Sengati’s names were omitted from the list of those supposed to go for the peace keeping mission. The treacherous assassin – Gen James Kabarebe told Maj John Sengati that it was Gen Jack Nziza who removed his names from the list.
Gen James Kabarebe and Gen Jack Nziza are operational friends who have worked together and in hamorny to destroy the country, the RPF and lives, under their brutal close network of J3 (James Kabarebe, Jack Nziza and James Musoni). In short, it was treacherous James Kabarebe who removed major John Sengati from the list of names to leave the country for Dafur.
All along, Gen James Kabarebe wasn’t planning to give John Sengati this opportunity, they were psychologically preparing him for an assignment. This deceitful play happened months after a failed assassination attempt on the life of Gen Kayumba Nyamwasa in South Africa.
After this well calculated incidence, treacherous assassin Gen James Kabarebe summoned Maj John Sengati at his house, he told him how the country wants his services in approaching Gen Kayumba Nyamwasa especially having been a trusted ADC to Gen Kayumba Nyamwasa.
A shocked Major John Sengati told treacherous assassin – Gen James Kabarebe how that was an impossible mission especially after Kayumba Nyamwasa’s own driver, a person he had worked with for years, had participated in his assassination. Major John Sengati told treacherous James Kabarebe that, “The way I know Gen Kayumba, he can’t trust me at all.” A quiet looking but dangerous Gen James Kabarebe, told him that it’s fine.
Few weeks after this discussion with Gen James Kabarebe, Major John Sengati was summoned to notorious Dan Munyuza’s office for investigation. Col (now Brig Gen) Dan Munyuza who had been himself harassed after the fleeing of Gen Kayumba Nyamwasa, new very well that the harassment against Major John Sengati was unjust, but like any Kagamist pet, he followed orders from above.
The whole of 2011, Major John Sengati, on several occasions was always summoned by Col. Dan Munyuza and Gen Jack Nziza, and the questions didn’t change, always being asked about his past association with Gen. Kayumba Nyamwasa.
Every after questioning, the treacherous assassin – Gen James Kabarebe would advise Major John Sengati to cooperate and work with DMI in a dark campaign to infiltrate Gen Kayumba Nyamwasa, but the answer from Major John Sengati to Gen James Kabarebe and Gen Jack Nziza, it was always no because the mission was impossible, telling them that since Gen Kayumba Nyamwasa fled from the country they had never talked.
In order to push him into accepting their dark art, Gen James Kabarebe ordered his deputy in the evil network of J3 – Gen Jack Nziza to prosecute an innocent person. And in 2012, the military Intelligence prosecuted Major Sengati and was held for over 5 months at Kami military torture centre.
On his release, treacherous assassin James Kabarebe appeared to him as his saviour lying to him how he tirelessly worked hard to see that his release, yet the deceitful assassin was the architecture of the whole evil plan against an innocent person.
By this time, Major John Sengati’s passport and all identity cards had been confiscated and withheld by Gen Jack Nziza. All along Major John Sengati never felt guilty of anything, and naively thought that he was immune for having been Gen Kayumba Nyamwasa’s ADC. He had friends in all departments within RDF, thus assuming that his safe. Major John Sengati, being treacherous assassin James Kabarebe’s errand boy, blindly gave him a sense of security. What he didn’t know, it was treacherous assassin – James Kabarebe who was digging his graveyard.
Just few weeks before his assassination, he received a tip from a friend within DMI informing him how his already a target for elimination, and Maj John Sengati rushed to tell treacherous assassin – Gen James Kabarebe about this info, as usual, deceitful James Kabarebe reassured him of his safety.
On 10 May 2013, John Sengati was assassinated by the then blue eyed boy of criminal Paul Kagame, a notorious assassin – Col Franco Rutagengwa who was also the chief of DMI at that time. Criminal Paul Kagame ordered the assassination of Major John Sengati acting on a cooked and fabricated intelligence information/lies given to him by treacherous assassin James Kabarebe and approved by his death merchant colleague – Gen Jack Nziza. They had lied to paranoia criminal Paul Kagame that Major John Sengati was in communication with Gen Kayumba Nyamwasa.
Major John Sengati was found with multiple gunshot wounds on his body and head. According to reliable sources, Col Franco Rutagengwa used an Uzi SMG with a fixed silencer, and in Rwanda, it is only presidential guard personnel and DMI operatives allowed to have this model of gun(s)- Uzi SMG, MAC-10 or any UZI model, especially with a Vers-9S Silencer.
While coming from Gitarama, his car was stopped by 2 landcruiser V8 with army number plates. He must have recognised those who had stopped him, and this team which was led by notorious assassin Col Franco Rutagengwa finished an innocent person.
For treacherous assassin James Kabarebe, he demonstrated to paranoia – criminal Paul Kagame that his tough on Kayumba Nyamwasa elements. Major Sengati was assassinated while in his early forties, leaving behind a wife and children.
