Major General Godefroid Niyombare, the leader of the 2015 coup d’état in Burundi against the CNDD-FDD regime of President Pierre Nkurunziza, a coup that was architected, sponsored, and orchestrated by criminal Paul Kagame, together with the surviving members of his coup team who fled to Rwanda after the attempt failed, have now been reactivated in Kigali, Rwanda.

Highly intensive meetings have been underway in Rwanda’s capital, Kigali, since the Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) launched its offensive to capture Uvira on 1 December 2025. Once RDF defences are firmly consolidated along the Kamanyola–Uvira axis, Major General Godefroid Niyombare and his team will relocate from Kigali to Uvira.

Criminal Paul Kagame’s speech yesterday, 11 December 2025, delivered to his servile and buffoon parliamentarians, during which he devoted nearly twenty minutes to Burundi and President Évariste Ndayishimiye, clearly signals what is to come.

As I have repeatedly pointed out in previous posts, the capture of Uvira by Criminal Paul Kagame’s RDF forces would be a critical turning point for the survival of CNDD-FDD regime in Burundi. Criminal Paul Kagame has unfinished business with the CNDD-FDD regime, and this bloodthirsty dictator neither forgets nor forgives.
