Twelve Years After The Brutal Assassination Of Col Patrick Karegeya: Divine Judgment Pursues Criminal Paul Kagame’s Assassins.

By: Robert Patrick Fati Gakwerere

On December 31, 2025, it marked exactly 12 years since your brutal assassination by Paul Kagame. All those who participated in this crime are known, and without doubt, justice will one day prevail. This is a promise from the Almighty God. Those with Colonel Patrick Karegeya’s blood on their hands are already facing divine retribution.

Colonel Patrick Karegeya

Where is Lieutenant General Karenzi Karake? Where is Brigadier General Francis Mutiganda?  Where is treacherous assassin General James Kabarebe? He has been battling severe, near-fatal health issues, this explains his absence from public view since October 2025, despite his usual obsession for cameras and inflammatory rhetoric in front of them, and his subsequent removal from the position of Minister of State for Regional Cooperation due to these health problems.

Where is General Kale Kayihura, who was fully aware of this heinous plot and allowed Uganda territory to be used as a base for its execution? Where is General Kale Kayihura’s cousin, Major General Jack Nziza? Where is the notorious assassin, Lieutenant Colonel Francis Gakwerere? Where is Brigadier General Franco Rutagengwa, who was recently dismissed for incompetence from his position as Commandant of the Rwanda Military Academy in Gako and replaced by a true professional officer of the Rwanda Defence Forces, Major General John Baptist Ngiruwonsanga? Where is Apollo Kiririsi? Apollo Kiririsi remains in Kigali, running his businesses while under constant surveillance by Paul Kagame’s agents, forbidden from leaving the country after his role in the elimination of Colonel Patrick Karegeya.

Revelation 21:8: “But the cowardly, the unbelieving… the murderers… their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

Proverbs 6:16–17: “There are six things the Lord hates… hands that shed innocent blood.”

Rest in peace, Colonel Patrick Karegeya. To me, you were an outstanding mentor and a profound guide in my career. In the final years of your life, you often asked, “Have you prayed? Do you pray? Always be praying.” Over time, I have come to believe that prayer is the key to everything, especially when confronting great evil and its murderous agents.

I miss you deeply. Continue resting in eternal peace, Colonel.
