The advance is described as continuing steadily in the direction of Kalemie, the provincial capital of Tanganyika, with little or no resistance encountered along this military axis.

If that momentum holds, the consequences could be significant. The N5 corridor is not just a road; it is a strategic spine that links communities, supply routes, and administrative centres along the lakeshore. A push toward Kalemie would signal an expansion of the conflict deeper into Tanganyika Province, widening the theatre of operations and increasing the risk of destabilisation beyond South Kivu.

Pressure from the United States is mounting on Rwanda’s ruthless criminal dictator – Paul Kagame to withdraw his troops from the DRC, starting with Mboko, where they are now positioned after capturing Uvira.

Yesterday, 14 December 2025, Criminal Paul Kagame’s RDF–M23 fighters captured Makobola, which is 21 km from Uvira. As of this evening, his RDF–M23 terrorists are entering Mboko, a small fishing centre 45 km from Uvira along Lake Tanganyika on Route N5. Criminal Paul Kagame’s forces are steadily advancing towards Kalemie City, the provincial capital of Tanganyika, without encountering any resistance.

But it seems this advance towards Kalemie, in Tanganyika Province, will be brought to a halt due to immense pressure from the United States. Will Criminal Paul Kagame dare defy his masters in Washington?
