Dictator Paul Kagame’s Blue Eyed Military Officer, Lt Gen Innocent Kabandana Missed On Critical Strategic Appointment Due To Illness.

Following his tour of Mozambique and subsequent promotion to Lieutenant General, Innocent Kabandana was Criminal Paul Kagame’s choice for the position of Army Chief of Staff, unfortunately, he became seriously sick, and when the ruler made the changes on 5th June 2023, he instead appointed Maj Gen Vincent Nyakarundi as Army Chief of Staff.

Lt Gen Innocent Kabandana, an experienced field officer, has been confronting serious health challenges. Otherwise, Criminal Paul Kagame’s trusted blue eyed boy – Lt Gen Innocent Kabandana would now be RDF’s Army Chief of Staf, and heavily involved in DR Congo invasion.

On June 5, 2023, a significant overhaul was conducted in the defense and security framework, leading to new leadership appointments. Rwanda’s brutal ruler, acting as the armed forces’ Commander in Chief, appointed Juvenal Marizamunda as Minister of Defense and Lt Gen Mubarak Muganga as Chief of Defense Staff (Now full General), succeeding Maj Gen Albert Murasira and Gen Jean Bosco Kazura, respectively.

The reshuffle elevated Juvenal Marizamunda from his previous position as Commissioner General for the Rwanda Correctional Service, marking his rapid rise within the ranks. Additionally, Maj Gen Vincent Nyakarundi was named Army Chief of Staff, succeeding Lt. Gen Muganga.

In further appointments, Maj Gen Alex Kagame was designated as the Joint Taskforce Commander in Mozambique, with other key roles filled by Col Theodomir Bahizi and newly promoted Col Augustin Migabo in Mozambique and the Special Force Command, respectively. The reshuffle also saw Col Evariste Murenzi appointed as Commissioner General of RCS and Jean Bosco Ntibitura as Director General of Internal Security in the National Intelligence and Security Services.
