DR Congo Crisis: Criminal Paul Kagame’s Risky Gambit And Its Tragic Fallout

By: Robert Patrick Fati Gakwerere

In mid-2023, Rwanda’s Grand Satan – criminal Paul Kagame, took a mad and contentious military operation decision by directing his house boy generals to initiate operations aimed at encircling Goma, a major city in Eastern DR Congo. The objective was clear, to choke off Goma’s supply routes and compel DR Congo President Félix Tshisekedi to engage in negotiations with RDF-M23.

Grand Satan – Dictator Paul Kagame, a man with no single military operation experience or expertise miscalculated with this mad plan. The mad plan, however, did not unfold as Criminal Paul Kagame had hoped. Instead of a swift capitulation by the DR Congo forces, the RDF-M23 has faced significant resistances, continuously leading to substantial losses among its ranks.

A poignant symbol of these continuous failed military offensives is the death of Colonel Bijugiza, who perished on May 30, 2024, during another unsuccessful attempt to capture Sake, a strategic location near Goma. This loss underscores the human toll and the brutal nature of a conflict driven by Criminal Paul Kagame’s thirst for minerals, primarily revolving around the control of valuable minerals.

The aftermath of such military actions has profound personal impacts as well. The death of Colonel Bijugiza leaves behind a widow and orphaned children in Rubavu, Rwanda, reflecting the broader human suffering caused by Criminal Paul Kagame’s mineral war in DR Congo. Col Bijugiza died in a senseless war, Criminal Paul Kagame’s brutal mineral war in the DR Congo. I hope Kagame’s inept thugs, who continuously applaud this needless war, will have the decency to visit his now widowed wife and orphaned children in Rubavu, Rwanda.

As the Kagame’s mineral war in DR Congo continues to be bloody, the international community remains watchful, and the people of DR Congo bear the brunt of a conflict that shows no signs of abating. The hope for a peaceful resolution seems dim, with continued aggression from RDF, making the prospects for peace and stability in the Great lakes region increasingly uncertain.
