Today, 23rd January, the Democratic Republic of Congo government refused to attend the Doha peace summit, a new Qatar diplomatic effort to solve security issues in Eastern DR Congo.
The Qatar diplomatic effort was supposed to bring together Criminal Paul Kagame and DR Congo’s President, Félix Tshisekedi. However, this new Doha initiative has fallen flat with DR Congo’s Government declining the invitation referring to it as another round of wasting time. Criminal Paul Kagame’s delegation arrived in Doha, Qatar on Saturday, 21st January 2023.
The Gulf state had also invited the president of Burundi, Maj Gen Evariste Ndayishimiye, the current chair of EAC, he also declined the invitation and there wasn’t any Burundian delegation sent to Qatar.
The meeting has been postponed until further notice.
The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani is a personal friend to Criminal Paul Kagame. And for years, Criminal Paul Kagame has used Qatar as a trade hub for illicit minerals plundered and smuggled from DR Congo.
Qatar maintains strong interests in Kigali through minerals from DR Congo, with this route currently drying up, Qatar is quietly following the UAE route of avoiding the ruthless middleman – Criminal Paul Kagame and knocking the doors of DR Congo government. Soon, Criminal Paul Kagame, the ruthless agent of DR Congo minerals will be fully isolated as former business partners realign directly with DR Congo without using a middleman agent.
We congratulate President Felix Tshisekedi. There is no single reason to meet a pathological liar, a bloodthirsty warmonger and Greatlakes region chief terrorist – Criminal Paul Kagame. The Luanda Roadmap and Nairobi Process are clear, Criminal Paul Kagame and his RDF-M23 should follow these accords and withdraw from DRC. The rest, it’s a waste of time, as DR Congo government stated.
